Dr. Shober received his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1989.  He is a board-certified Family Medicine Practitioner with the American Board of Family Practice since 1992. He  joined with Lawrence A. Fazioli, M.D., to form Lawrence County Family Medicine, in 1995.   Dr. Shober served for over twenty years at the local hospitals.  During his tenure at Jameson Memorial Hospital, he held the positions of president, vice president and chairman of the Medical staff.  He was on the Executive and Quality Management committees for twelve years. In 2007 he provided congressional testimony in regard to the values of Healthcare IT to the small solo Medical Practice and provided ongoing consulting for Healthcare legislation and reform to the 109th Congress   He is very dedicated to the health and wellness of his patients which range from adolescents, teens, to adulthood.  He now devotes his time to office/outpatient medicine, as well as nursing home care and hospice.
